We take the work seriously, but we do not believe an accounting office has to feel cold or intimidating. This is a small practice on Bardstown Road, run by one person who reads every return.

Who runs this place

Belinda Pinotti, Enrolled Agent

A small, independent tax and accounting office on Bardstown Road, led by Belinda Pinotti, an Enrolled Agent admitted to practice before the IRS. She personally handles every return, listens first, and catches what the chains and the software miss.

Belinda has been doing this work in the Highlands since 2005, operating as Pinotti Management, Inc.

In that time she has seen just about every version of a shoebox, and she has never once made anybody feel foolish about it.

She is an Enrolled Agent. That is a specific thing, and it is worth understanding: An Enrolled Agent is a tax specialist licensed by the federal government and admitted to practice before the IRS. In plain terms, Belinda can represent you directly in front of the IRS, so if a letter ever shows up, she can deal with it on your behalf.

What that means in practice is that the person who prepares your return is also the person who can stand up for it. If a letter ever arrives, you are not starting from scratch with a stranger at a call center.

    Behind on filings, records in a bag, a letter you have been avoiding opening. We have seen all of it. Bring it in.

The neighborhood

In the Highlands, for a long time

The office has been on Bardstown Road since 2005. Most of our clients live within a few miles of it, and a good number of them arrived because a neighbor sent them.

Awaiting details

Local sponsorships, neighborhood associations, volunteer work, and community connections have not been supplied for this website. If the office is involved in something locally, this is where it belongs, and it is worth saying.

I have been doing this a long time, and the part I still like best is the moment somebody relaxes. Usually it happens about ten minutes in, once they realize nobody is going to tell them off for the state of their paperwork.

If you have been putting something off, that is exactly the sort of thing to bring in. It is almost always smaller than it has become in your head.
